Exquisitely soft ,creamy hand-woven tribal rug. From the Azilal region of Morocco the rug has a simple design in black and undyed brown wool. The design is broken showing where it may have been added to over the years. It is a loosely woven making it very supple. It dates from the mid-20th century and was used as a sleeping rug as well as a floor covering. It is in good condition and measures 3.08m x 1.6m. This is a wonderful collectors piece.
