This is the ceiling version from the Spring range, designed by Andrea Lazzari for Venetian company Morosini.  We love this large collection of lamps which cast dramatic shadows.  They are available in chrome or polished white or black.  

The larger Spring PL55 can take halogen as well as regular incandescent or CFL bulbs and has a diffuser with a satin finish.
